I recently got released from Nursery and called to teach CTR 5. Today was my first day teaching them and it was kind of a complete nightmare. Lol! I even planned a lesson so I thought I had this in the bag. NOT! It was all boys today and they were little troublemakers. I think I'm gonna take snacks next week to bribe them. Probably not a great idea but I'm pretty sure it'll work. Right? Haha.
Gio and I teach the 5 yr olds too and we have 5 boys one girl, they are AWFUL! They never listen to a word we say And we have tried just about any bribe we can think of and they just don't care, it's not easy and we feel defeated alot! Gio had to teach by himself last week and had to take them all to their parents because they were being so bad! Good luck I hope yours turn like bribes better than ours do! Haha!
ReplyDeleteOh dear! Lol I think it's weird because girls this age are angels! Well, pray for me k? Hahaha
DeleteHang in there. I jumped in to help teach a ctr 5 class of 5 boys and 3 girls on Sunday. We were loud and rowdy and at least 3 of the boys ignored listening...one especially...I found it quite novel because his brother used to do the same when he was in primary. It challenges you to tailor a lesson that will keep their interest. But if you are there each week, you make a difference.
Deletethat is so funny nia! man i think sometimes we got it hard with the youth, but i can just imagine all the kids running wild and so hard to get their attention! ha... at least u can spank them when worst comes to worst! lol, jp... yeah snacks should help, they sure help the youth! and i try to take snacks every sunday! good luck!
